With the integration with Minimal AI you can communicate in whichever channel you and your customers already use: chat, email, or WhatsApp. The AI Agent answers in that same channel.

How does the AI Agent check if a return is eligible?

It checks the request against your own Return rules in Returnless before a return is created: whether the item is within the return window, the reason is valid, and the product isn't excluded.

What can the AI Agent actually do inside Returnless?

It can look up return status and order data, check eligibility against your Return rules, and create or update returns. It cannot create refunds, coupons, or gift cards directly, those run through your Returnless Automations.

Can Minimal AI trigger a refund directly in Returnless?

Not directly. The AI Agent updates a return's status or creates a return in Returnless. That status change triggers your Returnless Automations, which run the actual refund, coupon, or gift card. Automations require the Automate plan.

What's the difference between the AI Manager and the AI Agent?

The AI Agent is the one talking to your customers and working inside Returnless, it checks eligibility, pulls return status, and creates or updates returns. The AI Manager is how you set that up, you describe your return policy and workflow to it in plain language, and it configures the AI Agent to follow it. The AI Manager doesn't talk to customers or touch Returnless directly, it configures the AI Agent that does.
