Returnless was founded in 2018 by Marijn Prijs and Chris Boer. Both originally from Eindhoven, they met through a mutual friend. With Marijn’s background in online marketing and Chris’s technical and creative expertise in building and optimizing e-commerce stores, they formed a perfectly complementary team from day one.
Since then, Returnless has grown rapidly. What started with two founders and the hiring of our first three employees in 2021 has evolved into a team of around 30 people working together to improve the returns experience for merchants and their customers. Today, more than 1,250 online stores across Europe rely on our return solution.
In January 2025, Returnless was acquired by the German company JTL, making us part of the JTL family, a milestone that further accelerates our international growth.
