With the Returnless returns platform you easily implement a return process to your NetSuite CMS. Customers enter an order number and email address so that the order can be loaded in real-time from NetSuite.

By clever use of Return Rules we can stop and prevent unnecessary returns. For example returns outside the return period of 14 days, or damaged products. With Return Rules you have the ability to pre-approve returns.

Step 1 - Create Saved Search.

First, you need to create a 'Saved Search'. In this case we need a saved search to retrieve all paid orders and filter on the right order. To create a saved search go to Lists > Search > Saved Searches > new.

Step 2 - Set up Criteria.

After picking the right record type, the criteria need to be set up. These differ per shop and per installation. Below you can find an example where only orders with status 'billed' or 'partially fulfilled' can be returned. Also, by filtering on 'type filter' we can retrieve only the items that have inventory. 

Step 3 - Results setup.

The next step is selecting the fields to be sent to Returnless. Go to the tab Results. Please also refer to the attached image here as an example.

Step 4 - Script placement.

The next step is deploying a script where Returnless can communicate with. Go to Customization > Scripting > Scripts > New. Select the Returnless Order Info script, that you'll receive from Returnless. By the annotation in the beginning of the script, Netsuite will recognize the type of script. After uploading you are able to deploy the script. Select 'available without login' when deploying.

Step 5 - Setting permissions.

Once you have placed the script, you can grant permissions on the Audience tab. Tick All Roles and All Employees there.

Stap 6 - redirect URL.

Provide the script's External URL to your Returnless contact. The connection with Netsuite can then be completed.
